Our Philosophy

Most leaders - and their teams - know what they know, but don't know what they don't know.  We fill in the gaps with practical, been-there-before knowledge and advice. 

"One-offs" won't move the flywheel.
Only consistency can create momentum (and growth).

We've seen (and done it all): CEO, COO, partner, board member, advisor, consultant, facilitator, executive coach, keynote speaker, investor – you name it. We've see things that work, and what didn't.  But most initiatives work best when done in tandem  - not as one-offs.  For instance:

•  Keynotes are great for marking on occasion or kicking off a new initiative, to motivating your audience to action – and we do inspiring keynotes – but what about follow up?

•  A one-and-done workshop will provide tactical skills – and we do fun, knowledge-filled workshops – but is there an enduring impact?

•  Self-paced skills training helps the individual employee who takes the time – and we offer these too – but can they alone clear the deck?

•  Leadership retreats, coaching, and partnerships each have an important part to play as the organization matures - but each by themselves is also unlikely to make a substantive difference over the longer-term.

This is why we founded the Braintrust Professional Institute: Given our experience growing (and exiting) our own companies, as well as coaching and advising 100+ others, we saw that a more integrated approach is what will move the needle.

Here are some ways we provide support to organizations:

•  C-Suite leaders know what they know, but they don't know what they don't know; this issue becomes even more acute as the business grows.  We can help, with Executive Coaching.
